our
vision

Prime Minister is a school of politics for young women aged between 14 and 18 years who want to undertake a training course in Politics – understood as the ability to interpret and guide society – and civic activation.

Our students live an experience of empowerment, which consists in the strengthening of their transversal skills and competences, and the creation of one community ready to support them.

The school bets on young leaders, tomorrow’s “Prime Ministers”, to generate an impact on the medium and long period in the country. Our aim is that every young woman in Italy can become aware of their potential, in order to become agent of change in their school, community, city and nation.

our values

Courage has been Prime Minister’s motto since day one: the courage to get involved and to uphold the idea of society under the banner of sustainability and democracy.

Our school of politics for young women believes in the fundamental importance of education and of the competences that are acquired thanks to it, but also in training, in a wider sense, a new type of leadership, of which inclusion and teamwork are crucial values.

Prime Minister bets on training of young women to stimulate that process of social innovation that will bring up a real gender equality.

our method

Workshops

Empowerment workshops cared for by Prime Minister’s team, which serve as support towards the realization of active citizenship and political projects. They also introduce the meetings with mentors.

Mentoring

Mentoring: Mentoring sessions by role models and representatives of the political, institutional, cultural, entrepreneurial, and scientific fields. Through panels and discussions with them, the students are inspired to express their potential.

Talk

Open to the wider public, our mentors as well as sponsors take part in them; the talks represent for the students a crucial moment to interiorise all the lessons learnt during the day.

Experience

Trips to institutions such as the Italian and European Parliament, embassies, editorial boards, and projects of civic activism on the field.

our history

Prime Minister is a project stemming from the collaboration between the associations Movimenta and Farm Cultural Park, and carried out by Angela Laurenza, Eva Vittoria Cammerino, Denise Di Dio and Florinda Saieva.

The idea behind it originated in the second half of 2018, during a tour of Movimenta in Sicily, which led Prime Minister’s founders to meet and subsequently put their intuition into practice. On 14 February 2019, the establishment of the School was publicly announced at the Italian Parliament in a press conference promoted by Alessandro Fusacchia MP. This was followed by the launch of the first edition in Favara (AG), Sicily, at the headquarters of Farm Cultural Park.

One year later, the School inaugurated its second edition in Naples, and is now planning to open new ones by the end of 2020.

the founders

We have teamed up because we dream of a world where every young woman can freely express her ambitions, and be and become whoever she wants to be.

Even Italy’s future Prime Minister.
